Photo Scavenger Hunt #3 - Need Ideas!
I’ve been getting some nuggding that people want a 3rd Photo Scavenger Hunt. And I’m happy to oblidge. I love them. They’re hilarious and you guys put so much effort into them. But, I’m starting to run out of ideas. Every time I think of something to use, I realize I’ve already done it in one of the previous 2.
So I need your help. I know I said that I wasn’t going to ask for assitance with this… but I’ve changed my mind. I want the help of all of you. Tell me your ideas. But, please, don’t be retarded with them. Don’t spam the comments with stuff. Keep it serious.
What I want from you guys is your ideas AND how many points you think it should be worth. Just remember, it needs to stay PG-13 (no nudity or violence!) and it should be doable by the majority of participants. Aka, if you have “picture of you in front of a corn field,” that is too specific. People in cities or various parts of the world wouldn’t be able to do it. So it needs to be broad enough that most people can do it.
I appreciate the help guys! If you guve me good ideas, I can run this in about 2-3 weeks.

Not A Falsie Report
Just wanted to give you guys a quick heads up that Falsie the Pseudo-Science girl was made public earlier today. It is an 80s akiba pop song by our favorite j-pop artist, MOSAIC.WAV. Stepfile is by world renowned simfiler, behanjc. It’s a little over 2 minutes long and is a 9 in difficulty. It’s yours for 4500 credits from the shop.

Kanon x2
So everyone loved Canon in WHEE, which was part of our New User Purchased Song mini-event about 2 months ago. Everyone loved it so much, that we got a whole bunch of Canon in WHEE v2 submissions, as well as some other Canon in D remixes. Kanon-Kanon is another one of those remixes, at a whopping 230bpm, by t+pazolite. It is a solid 10 in difficulty. You can find it in Purchased, and it’s yours for 5000 credits. Props to bmah for the file.
In other, related news, a new subscriber song was released earlier today… {Big Boss} by cornandbeans, stepped by Vote4Nixon. An amazing song with awesome steps, you’re definitely going to want to subscribe just to listen to this song and play this file. AND… it’s not a purchased song! It’s back in funk for the next 3 weeks.

Note on Yahoo! Email Accounts
We’ve been having issues with Yahoo email accounts recently… nothing we send (email verifications, password resets, etc) has been going through to Yahoo; not even into Spam. We’re working on fixing this, but I figured I’d let everyone know that if you’re having a problem and have Yahoo, this is why.
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!
For those that know me, or have ever seen a picture of me, you’ll know that I sport a retro Philadelphia Phillies hat every day… and have for the past 8 or so years. The last championship for any major team in the city of Philadelphia was 1983, a year before I was born. It is so sweet to finally have a championship back in my City of Brotherly Love, and even moreso that it is my beloved Phillies.
I’m sure the majority of you guys don’t care about sports or baseball, but I do… and this is a moment in my life that I won’t ever forget. I flew across country, back to Philly, just to attend Game 3 of the World Series, and it was one hell of a game. I really am beyond words.
Congrats Phillies, and I can’t wait for the 2009 season!!!!!

So, I just had to do something for the birthdays of 2 of my favorite stepfilers, dore and bluguerrilla. Dore’s 18th birthday was yesterday, but unfortunately I had hours and hours of delays with my flight getting out of Philly and back to LA… so I wasn’t able to do anything until today. Blu’s 26th birthday is today… reaffirming him as our resident elder. I look forward to the day I can finally call him Dr. blu.
Anyway, in honor of their birthdays, I have released a new purchased song from each of them… and given both to each of them free, as a gift. Document 13b is a mid-FMO DnB song by our own DJ Nubbin. It’s got a ton of tricky jacks and a few 32nd bursts that will make PAing difficult. 6000 credits in the Shop, and it’s yours. Empornium is our second ever Parental Advisory song, so be warned. The lyrics are VERY dirty and VERY funny… you may have trouble AAAing because you’ll be laughing too hard. Difficulty is a 6, with slow bpm 16ths throughout and 32nd triplets scattered in the chorus. Forum Upgrades
I’m sure many of you guys noticed that the forum is down, and possibly one or two other small misalignments around the site. Fear not, we’re hard at work doing some maitanence and upgrades around the forum and the site. Hopefully will all be finished and back to normal by the time everyone is up for school tomorrow.
